Our Story

A Legacy of Educational Support

The Robert Hungerford Chapel Trust was established to honor a tradition of faith, service, and commitment to community. Since the 1980s, the Trust has remained dedicated to one simple but powerful mission: helping students pursue higher education through scholarship support.

For more than four decades, we have invested in the academic dreams of students throughout Central Florida, awarding over $2.5 million in scholarships to deserving young men and women.

Our history reflects a deep belief that education is one of the most powerful tools for strengthening families, uplifting communities, and creating long-term opportunity.

Our Commitment

Dedicated to Access and Opportunity

The Trust is committed to:

  • Expanding access to higher education

  • Supporting students with demonstrated financial need

  • Encouraging academic excellence

  • Promoting personal responsibility and community impact

We believe that when students are given opportunity, they rise to meet it.
